The Halifax Fire Department would like to share our 2017 year end statistics. We set a new record for the number of calls for service with 298, the previous was 290 in 2006. We would like to thank all of our dedicated Volunteers for their hard work throughout the year.

In District Calls: 238 (80.1%)
Mutual Aid Calls: 59 (19.9%)

Fires: 46 (15.5%)
Rescue/EMS: 100 (33.7%)
Hazardous Conditions: 16 (5.4%)
Service Calls: 77 (25.9%)
Good Intent: 47 (15.8%)
“Other”: 11 (3.7%)
