04/04/15 Structure Fire

04/04/15: Box 29-4 was struck around 1948 hours for reported structure fire in the 200-blk Middle Rd, Halifax Twp.  Dauphin County 911 received multiple calls and a large smoke column could be seen from miles away.  A first alarm was immediately dispatched.  E20 (Millersburg Fire) arrived first on scene and stretched multiple lines to the building that was fully involved with fire.  E29 arrived just after provided a water supply and assisted with suppression.   Capt. 29 (M. Herrold) had command requesting additional tankers and brush trucks to the scene due to spot fires and fire embers threat.....

03-27-15 MVA Tourist Park Rd

03/27/15: Box 29-2 was struck for reported MVA in the 600-blk of Tourist Park Rd, Halifax Twp.  Reports were single vehicle flipped on the roof with driver still in the vehicle.  Chief 29-1 (W. Pottiger) and FF W. Leonard arrived to find a single vehicle on its roof with driver still in his seat with seat belt on.  Driver to have multiple injuries, Chief 29-1 and FF Leonard made the decision to fly the driver.  Engine 29-1 arrived and went to work on stabilizing the vehicle and removing the "B" post to get the driver out.  Once the driver was removed from the car he was loaded into an Ambulanc.....
